I've decided to give you a special, inside view into the personal meanings of selected sections from each chapter of Brothers In The Bush

Welcome to my visual storytelling.  Overtime, I'll add photos from my personal inventory  to breathe life into my words.  Each chapter gives you an introduction to the content in the book and  a glimpse of the impact traveling to East Africa has had on my life choices.

Dedication
This book is dedicated to the warriors, those who endure uncomplainingly and approach each day with the knowledge that change, in all its forms, is nothing more than an ongoing test of our will, and our willingness to survive; and to one warrior in particular, my great-grandfather. Born a slave, in 1905 he "escaped" the sharecropping "profession," walking hundreds of miles in an effort to gain his freedom. Although he paid dearly, his sacrifice changed the direction of subsequent generations of our family.

Thank You, Grandpa. I hope I've made you proud.
